My Philosophy

I work with men in a collaborative and straightforward way.

My role is to offer professional guidance and support in a clear, structured way. I bring clinical training and experience, and you bring your perspective, goals, and commitment to the work.

Many men seek support when stress, pressure, or unresolved experiences begin to affect focus, relationships, or day-to-day functioning. My role is to help bring clarity to those patterns and support meaningful, sustainable change.

The men I work with are often navigating demanding roles at work or home, and therapy provides a structured space to understand what’s getting in the way and how to respond more effectively. The focus is practical and purposeful, with attention to both insight and emotional awareness.

Experience Working With Men

I have extensive experience working with men across a range of high-responsibility roles, including executives, business leaders, professional and collegiate athletes, and military leadership.

I am familiar with the pressures that come with leadership, performance expectations, and long-term responsibility. The work is always adapted to each individual’s goals, capacity, and circumstances.

Clinical Approach & Training

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with advanced training in trauma-informed, evidence-based care. I am EMDR Certified and licensed to practice therapy in both California and Idaho. I am also a former U.S. Marine Corps veteran, which informs my understanding of structure, responsibility, and high-pressure environments.

As an EMDR therapist for men, I work with clients to process experiences that continue to influence stress responses, emotional reactions, relationships, and behavior—often outside of conscious awareness. EMDR allows us to address how past experiences are stored and activated, rather than focusing only on insight or discussion. This allows us to address underlying drivers of distress while keeping the work focused and effective.

I am intentional about pacing and stability. Many of the men I work with are managing significant personal and professional responsibilities, and the work is designed to support progress without overwhelming existing demands.
